Texas Crab Festival Charities along with a generous support grant of $15,000 from Entergy Texas, helped Christmas come early for 47 families on the Bolivar Peninsula. Each family was presented with a $200 Big Store food gift card at the Texas Crab Festival Grounds on December 8th. For those unable to attend, Entergy Texas volunteers and Texas Crab Festival Board Members personally delivered the rest of the gift cards. “Being able to help the families of our community is a gift that just keeps giving,” said Mark DeSantis, Texas Crab Festival Charities Fundraising Chair. “We can not thank Entergy Texas and our volunteers enough for helping make Christmas a little brighter for those who needed a little help this year,” added DeSantis.
